Power Door Lock Module Jetta

It may mean the wrong door lock module was installed like from a gti or beetle instead of a front door latch from a jetta.

The ccm is wired directly to the window motor control module and this unit is responsible for driving all functions of the door. First you need to be 100 sure that the key fob is the culprit. The trunk release switch in the door panel does not work. If the power window motor looses power all door functions will go dead.
