An underfloor heating system was built into one side of the hut to act as a sitting sleeping platform in cold weather.
Primitive technology tiled roof hut.
This was inspired by the korean ondol or hot stone.
The kiln originally used for firing roof tiles for the hut was used to fire the larger pottery.
Furnace made of mixture of mud clay and fibres.
Originally i fired previous pots in small pit fires.
The fired tiles were then hooked over the horizontal roof battens.
But the kiln allowed me to fire larger pots with a lower breakage rate than pit fire.
Earthenware may be placed on the tiles to cook.
Next to the furnace there is a small chamber made of the same mixture as above but with a clay tile floor for not putting food on mud.
The hut is 2m wide and 2m long the side walls are 1m h.
