This agacad sneakpeek is about modeling precast walls in revit using agacad s specialized bim solution precast concrete.
Revit divide concrete walls.
All the connections and built in parts are revit families and can be customized according to the project s requirements.
Hi team since the release of the revit precast tools last year i have seen the potential to model concrete tilt up panels using these tools.
The biggest thing to remember is to trick the system to no further segment the walls unless of course you want to.
On the segmentation tab we define rules for splitting based on fabrication transportation or other functional requirements.
To execute a segmentation of walls we need to select all the walls and press the split command.
This can be found on the modify tab.
Place connections and reinforcement.
Revit precast panels using split with gap disallow joins usually we will model a precast wall as continuous and as we progress to developed or detailed design we will begin to split the precast wall into individual panels.
Create assemblies from the parts.
An easy way to do this is to use the split with gap tool.
Divide parts with the revit divide command.
